Lazy Sunday
Officially, I didn’t come up with any New Year’s resolutions. Even though I did plan on getting some cardio in today, I am also still listening to my body and I was still a little congested this morning. And with the temperature here in the Bay Area being in the low-30’s this morning, there was no way I was going outside to get some steps in… not quite yet anyway. Yes, I could’ve hopped on the Peloton, but I just didn’t have it today. The good news - tomorrow is a new day and the start of another work week. I’ll see where my energy levels are tomorrow.
Today was a good day. In addition to a lazy Sunday, my Niners won a crucial game with the quarterback of the future, Trey Lance, getting his first win as a starter. I joked around earlier with some friends that my happiness on a Niners game day is dependent on whether or not they win on a given day. I was half-joking when I said it but in all honesty, a Niners loss today would’ve put me in a foul mood. I did come up with an idea after the game to maybe try a Niners game-day diary. Maybe next week for the do-or-die game for week 18 versus the division-rival Rams.
I was finally able to start one of my birthday celebrations. I third-wheeled going out to dinner to get some tacos. “Tacos are life!” [Dani Rojas voice] We also got dessert crepes. Currently stuffed. I should probably think about where I want to do my first official food review. Let me marinate on how I want to execute this idea.
Okay, off to complete my lazy Sunday by getting caught up on Station Eleven. I am hooked!
